As parents, it’s our responsibility to give our children the best start to life as possible. Here is a little parenting health tip for you. Childhood obesity is a complex condition influenced by many factors, including genetics, eating habits, physical activity, and sleep patterns. Compared with children at a healthy weight, children with obesity are at greater risk for health problems, such as asthma, sleep apnea, bone and joint conditions, type 2 diabetes, and other complications throughout all life phases. To support healthy growth and development, children’s meals should consist of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and plant-based protein sources. They should consume water instead of sugary drinks. If they want something else, offer a small portion of 100% fruit juice or low-sodium vegetable juice diluted with water. Encourage at least 60 minutes of vigorous physical activity or active play each day and active family activities and outings. Limit screen time to 2 hours or less per day and ensure they get sufficient high-quality sleep: 9 to 12 hours for children and 8 to 10 hours for teenagers.

Laugh as much as you please with the joke of the day, titled “The Robe Eats First.”

A scholar was invited to a grand dinner. He arrived wearing simple, worn clothes, and the host barely noticed him, seating him at the back.

The scholar quietly went home, changed into a magnificent silk robe, and returned. This time, the host rushed over and gave him the seat of honor.

When the meal was served, the scholar picked up a spoonful of soup and poured it onto his sleeve.

“Sir! Why are you pouring soup on your robe?”

“Because apparently, you didn’t invite me to dinner. You invited my robe. So, it’s only fair it gets the first bite.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Indonesian, with multiple-language subtitles, from Lestari and Dimas in Indonesia
