I’ve got a tip on how to relieve digestive discomfort. Stress can significantly affect digestion. Chronic stress may disrupt the gut–brain connection, slow digestion, increase stomach acid, and contribute to bloating, acid reflux, and indigestion. To support healthy digestion, experts recommend eating meals at regular times, choosing warm and easy-to-digest foods, eating slowly, and chewing thoroughly. Helpful habits such as deep breathing, meditation, light walking after meals, and getting enough sleep may also support gut balance. If digestive discomfort persists or becomes severe, medical advice should be sought, especially when accompanied by signs such as unexplained weight loss, severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, or black stools. With consistent stress management and mindful eating habits, many people can gently improve digestion and overall gut comfort over time.

Mia visited her old friend’s house when she noticed the wall clock didn’t seem to work.

“Is your clock broken?”

“No, it’s just very accurate.”

“How do you know?”

“It tells the correct time… twice a day.”

“That’s… not how clocks work.”

“It is if you believe in it.”
