Dream a dream of a peaceful world arriving soon for all of us! Here is a thoughtful tip for you from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan):
“Hi loved angels: Wishing you a very wonderful Christmas, as well as a satisfying coming New Year.
If you go out with family or friends, especially to the mountain, the river or forest, do be careful, even if you are with a guide. In the wilderness, things can be risky and quite different from school, home or the city. Do make sure to bring all of the most essential items, but do not be overloaded. They should include a Swiss knife or knife, and scissors for general use. If possible, also a cutter for metal wire. These are very good to help wildlife trapped in the wild or even near your home. Scissors are mostly easier for cutting off any simple/light string or fishnet often found entangling the poor, helpless animal-beings. It will not strangle the animal-persons more in some cases. And much less so compared to the knife, as I saw in many rescue occasions, thus minimizing discomfort and freeing them faster. You and them would like that. Tell your parents or an adult with you to do this job, as it might be harder for you to handle. But you can lend them your ready tools.
