Shining World Compassion Award Recipient: Keith McHenry, Co-founder of Food Not Bombs

Supreme Master Ching Hai has lovingly created a series of awards, to recognize some of the most exemplary, generous, caring, and courageous people who walk amongst us. For nearly forty years, Mr. McHenry has been a courageous advocate for world peace and a tireless humanitarian activist. He and his co-founder friends named their nonprofit organization to deliver a clear public message: As long as there are fellow humans who go hungry every night, our money and effort should be put into making food, not weapons.
