In today’s news, Japan supports Palestine refugees, World Health Organization warns “we need to be ready” for bird flu outbreaks in humans, Australian researchers use seawater to create hydrogen fuel, United States excludes aid for earthquake relief to Syria from sanctions, businessman from Kazakhstan provides yurts to Ukraine (Ureign), vegan mycelium beef jerky introduced in New York, and study finds listening to bird-people’s songs improve our mental well-being.

I have an eco-friendly tip for you. You can create a natural rain garden with any low area that has some standing water in it after a heavy rainfall. A rain garden is a sunken area in the land that collects rainwater either from a driveway, roof, or street, and soaks it into the ground. This allows the water to be filtered naturally and it in turn helps buffer ponds, rivers, lakes, streams, and shorelines. If you don’t have any natural low areas, you can dig out soil extending 15 centimeters deep. Make sure you gradually descend from the outside edges to the center where it needs to be the deepest. Next, select garden plants that enjoy wet regions like native ones from boggy habitats.

It seems like the joke of the day is already at the door, so we’d better let it in. This one’s called, “Just in Case.”

A husband tasted the food on his plate, then turned to his wife and asked.

“What is the name of this dish that you cooked for me?”

“Why are you so concerned about the name of the dish today?”

“Well, I was just thinking, the doctor might ask that question later!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Nour in Syria:

My spiritual Master, let Your soul fill my body cells and be the breath I take

My spiritual Master, be my steps and the wisdom I seek, be my patience in adversity and my strength in different circumstances

My spiritual Master, be my sight, foresight, hearing and speech

My spiritual Master, let us be together in all times and spaces, every minute, moment and decision

Even when I sleep, I will never forget that You are with me at all times

My spiritual Master, be in every thought, sound and scene

You are leading me to the Home that I always looked for along the ages, fighting myself and taking turns winning… Until Your breeze touched my face and Your arms immersed my soul…

I prostrate to You with gratefulness and gratitude because You take me Home safe

I pray so all creatures can bathe in Your Almighty Light and be cleansed of every badness, illness and disease…

All love and appreciation to my spiritual Supreme Master

Master, I saw You in my dreams wearing golden shining clothes, and You took me on a fast journey to amazing places that made my heart very light. It was like I got a new soul and clothes.

Yours, Nour from Syria

Delightful Nour, We are thankful to read your beautiful words.

With joy, we relay Master’s loving reply to you: “Shining Nour, your poem lifts my spirits with your heartfelt gratitude and bliss to the Divine Power. Light that shines brightly amidst the gravity of the current hardships experienced in Syria is admirable, and much needed, so keep up your diligent spiritual practice and know my Love and support are always with you. Inside we strengthen our spiritual force with Divine Power by meditation. May Almighty Allah nourish and protect you and the innocent Syrian people.”
