At the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, researchers have found a new, safe way to make hydrogen energy. Their method splits the process into two steps and uses a machine called an electrolyzer. They replaced one of the parts in the electrolyzer with a super-capacitive carbon electrode, which stops gas from being made at the same time. This makes the process safer and more efficient.
